Carmen Krier

As Program Director for the Chamber of Commerce, Carmen Krier helps coordinate programs that support local businesses and foster strong community relationships. Born and raised in Kearney, she is proud to continue working and giving back in her hometown. She earned her degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she built a foundation in civic engagement, leadership, and public service.

With an empathetic and social personality, Carmen enjoys connecting with people and creating welcoming spaces for collaboration. Outside of work, she lives in Kearney with her fiancé and values spending time in the community she calls home. In her free time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors with her dog, and baking sourdough, often sharing her creations with friends and family. Her strong ties to Kearney and passion for community involvement align closely with the Chamber’s mission.

Rylie Mills

Rylie has a unique background that ranges across multiple industries that has given him opportunities to gather a variety of skills he has added to his toolbox. Before accepting the Marketing Director position, Rylie was the Executive Director of the Ravenna Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of Mills Farm Nebraska, a local business that makes signs, home décor, firepits, hitch covers and more. He takes responsibility and pride in the projects he is involved with.

 

Rylie's goal as Marketing Director is to optimize and maximize the voice and image of the Chamber and our members by identifying our target audience and discovering how to effectively reach and communicate with them. He thinks outside the box and finds the positive in any situation -- the problems of today are the opportunities of tomorrow.
